LHC switched on and what will happen

I have just posted a tongue in cheek response to another post and i apologise for that but does anyone really think we will ever find out what exactly will happen in the coming months? I have a feeling that if the collider does throw up proof of extra spacial dimensions then we will be among the last to know?? What do you reckon guys?

I think this is the millionth thread about this topic, regarding the youtube video there are lots of good informative and doomsday predictions this is just one of the informative ones about atlas, if we want to see whether the world will end we have to wait for some time because the main injection of protons occurs in a few days time and till now in the test runs nothing has happened.
