911 Hijackers - Pawns In The Game?

I am interested in any opinions you might have that the Hijackers were merely pawns for the events of 911, not any more or less.

The reason is that I would like to get a consensus to add with other research and determine, statistically, which arguments were strongest... have the 911 threads on ATS (to current time...) over the years since 09 - 11 - 2001 helped achieve anything?

To me, the most important thing I recall about joining this site was to see responses to information about the hijackers and how they were used for political purposes... and all those conspiracy sites that consider these guys who could barely fly a plane in training school - deliver a perfect strike to an unsuspecting tower. And then another - STRIKE!

How much water do the conspiracies hold anymore? Have any CREDIBLE news outlets dedicated time to helping prove some terrorist pilots are still alive?

It got confusing. I just want to remember all the facts I've read and seen on video...but there has been so many - yet there is so little %s of folks who believe any of this. So I'm coming up with new arguments I hope.

Any ATS posters have any good links and/or current information to help? thanks!

Yes, I would say the hijackers where pawns. Pawns in fact to Osama. Being he didn't take his brave ass up in the Aircraft leads me to believe they in fact where pawns.

Osama's cowardly take on the world is horrific.

If we play the Kevin Bacon game, Bush and Osama are separated by a banker, which not only makes these these hijackers pawns, it makes them incredibly stupid if they thought this act will bring them a virgin.

What IS all of this crap? The hijackers are still alive?

Two others, Hamza Alghamdi and Ahmed Alnami, have names similar to individuals listed in public records as using the same address inside the base. In addition, a man named Saeed Alghamdi graduated from the Defense Language Institute at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, while men with the same names as two other hijackers, Mohamed Atta and Abdulaziz Alomari, appear as graduates of the U.S. International Officers School at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., and the Aerospace Medical School at Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio, respectively.

Another of the men named by the FBI as a hijacker in the suicide attacks on Washington and New York has turned up alive and well. Saudi Arabian pilot Waleed Al Shehri was one of five men that the FBI said had deliberately crashed American Airlines flight 11 into the World Trade Centre on 11 September. Now he is protesting his innocence from Casablanca, Morocco.

A man named by the US Department of Justice as a suicide hijacker of American Airlines flight 11 ­ the first airliner to smash into the World Trade Centre ­ is very much alive and living in Jeddah. Abdulaziz Al Omari, another of the Flight 11 hijack suspects, has also been quoted in Arab news reports. He says he is an engineer with Saudi Telecoms, and that he lost his passport while studying in Denver.

Mr Al-Hamzi is 26 and had just returned to work at a petrochemical complex in the industrial eastern city of Yanbou after a holiday in Saudi Arabia when the hijackers struck. He was accused of hijacking the American Airlines Flight 77 that hit the Pentagon. He said: "I have never been to the United States and have not been out of Saudi Arabia in the past two years." The FBI described him as 21 and said that his possible residences were Fort Lee or Wayne, both in New Jersey.

Mr Al-Nami, 33, from Riyadh, an administrative supervisor with Saudi Arabian Airlines, said that he was in Riyadh when the terrorists struck. He said: "I'm still alive, as you can see. I was shocked to see my name mentioned by the American Justice Department. I had never even heard of Pennsylvania where the plane I was supposed to have hijacked."
