Video shows dead Afghan children after US raid

The two videos, both obtained by The Associated Press, give weight to Afghan and U.N. findings that scores of civilians, including 60 children and 15 women, died in the Aug. 22 raid in the village of Azizabad.

A U.S. investigation found that only seven civilians died. But the U.S. on Sunday said it would reopen the investigation because of emerging new evidence.

60 children is a far cry from seven.

With the ever-increasing number of attempted suicides committed by soldiers, five per day and 2,100 attempts last year alone according to the military, I'm starting to wonder if it is this sort of thing that is driving some of them over the edge.

The U.S. is re-opening the case and if this video is proven authentic and related to the raid not only are we being lied to regarding what is actually happening in this war but there are sever tragedies being inflicted on innocent civilians.

The official story needs to be questioned.

It's so easy - What you can't prove didn't happen. And if there is proof - we just open a new investigation, because we care so much - after 2 weeks we can stop it, because nobody remembers that investigation.

Isn't it easy? Next time, I am a civilian in a war with the US I'll better care my camcorder.

It's sad.

allahs most devoted hide behind women and children when they strike and retreat from peacekeeping forces, they are the ones responsible for putting innocents in harms way.

they know this, it is done for just the sympathetic effect presented here.

Oh I don't doubt these sort of things happen, however if a criminal ran into a daycare center I wouldn't expect the officers to blow up the building just to get him.

The Taliban and the drug warlords are vile criminals...I don't care what happens to them.

More like "hold America accountable" so that alleged situations like this either don't happen or are approached differently. Since when is it politically correct to mourn and/or try and avoid the death of innocent children?

Since the invention of the television. Imagine if the American people saw all those bombings on Japan during WWII. The war would have ended earlier with the U.S. at the negotiating table begging forgiveness for killing civilians because we are compassionate to prod the leaders to stop killing them.

dont mean to be funny, but why why why would you want to look at a video of dead kids????????? I dont want to guess how many views it has had. This just goes to adding to the lethergy of society regarding these things
