I Can Prove/Disprove Time Travel

I believe that if a time travel device is made it will be more of a window into the past, something that will allow for accurate recording of past events, which will allow us to change the way in which we learn history, by actually watching it through our "time window" into the past. This will keep individuals from "borrowing" the device to alter the past.
