I wonder...
If this is something that is well know among the equally evil countries N Korea runs with...
All of the sudden we find out they are helping Syria with a nuclear program (for a few years now, it looks like) and they have stepped up their support of Iran, by way of rockets and such.
Maybe the people in charge have an idea of how inept the imposter is and they need to galvinize their support from other nations.

Fox News is not responsible for this report. They are carrying an artcle from "The Sunday Times." The claim is made by Professor Toshimitsu Shigemura, not Fox News.

FOXNEWS put the story at the front of their website...whether they authored it or not doesn't matter as much as the fact that they helped promote it. My main point is that FOXNEWS, now the most watched news channel, is offering up something which I would think is more likely to be seen on ATS than in the mainstream media. Most people just have this idea of Kim Jong Il but have no clue what the man is really like. Even our own intellegence agencies have a tough time figuring him out. He is so reclusive and paranoid, he makes sure it is tough for the outside world to know what he is thinking.
I think it also shows how desperate we may be when it comes to North Korea and at the same time how amazingly effective his isolation has been. The best way we have to know if he is dead...is through pictures. Doesn't that suggest there is no personel close enough to the man who can vouch for it?

There may have been another post on this set up already...but I think it is very odd timing for North Korea to make this sort of announcement only a few days/weeks after the world is starting to question whether or not the man running the country is even Kim Jong:
"Western officials confirm to FOX News that there is intelligence suggesting that North Korean leader Kim Jong Il suffered a stroke on Aug. 14 and could be incapacitated — even wheelchair bound.

Sources tell FOX News that Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill's emergency visit to Beijing last week was more to talk about how to approach North Korea in the event of Kim's incapacitation, and less to talk about the reassembling of the Yongbyon nuclear facility..."

www.foxnews.com...

Looks like the North Koreans are trying to find a way to save face...while they find a new way to hoard power.
