The Real Palin

A note to all by Anne Kilkenny

Dear friends,

So many people have asked me about what I know about Sarah Palin in the
last 2 days that I decided to write something up . . .

Basically, Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton have only 2 things in
common: their gender and their good looks.

good looks?
I will admit I think Sarah Palin is babeolicious, but I don't think most would use the term good looking for hillary. But, to each his own.

This is a very interesting read.

Here is an excerpt:

While Sarah was Mayor of Wasilla she tried to fire our highly respected
City Librarian because the Librarian refused to consider removing from
the library some books that Sarah wanted removed. City residents
rallied to the defense of the City Librarian and against Palin's
attempt at out-and-out censorship, so Palin backed down and withdrew
her termination letter. People who fought her attempt to oust the
Librarian are on her enemies list to this day.

Which seems to be to general theme running through this letter. It seems that has done this type of back stepping quite a few times in her career.

Palin tries to get her own way, regardless of the ethics behind it.

If she faces strong opposition she backs down.

Someone who is a heart beat away from the Presidency of America needs to be a little stronger in character than this

My initial thought when watching her speech at the convention was, O.K. I am in the 8th grade and there is the cheerleader. That is still what I see. I think that we have only gotten a glimpse of what she is all about and one thing that she doesn't have is substance. I can imagine the Republican response had she been a Democrat chosen to run with Barack Obama. I have a friend that was mayor of a town with a larger population than Wasilla. He runs a drive in grocery, raises money for his cronies, and is worth a lot of money. I hope that the G.O.P. doesn't at sometime nominate him for an executive office, but I sincerely think that he would be a better choice, but not nearly so perky. Wow what a pep rally and how superficial.
