Just found this article, released today. It's the only one with this story, so I don't know if it's true...we'll see how much it gets picked up.

Article

This is a paper in the UK. Does anyone know if it's a valid source?

If so, the pregnancy story is debunked, but it does keep the issue of judgement surrounding her trip to Texas, etc still in play.

This is an interesting find.

If the story is true, how did the U.S. MSM manage to let a U.K web site get the story first?

If not true, then the web site is just part of a conspiracy to smear Gov. Palin and her family at any cost. Anybody know who owns this site?

It is true. The NY Post has also run an article on this (I posted it in the thread below) and supposedly, the networks have also reported it.

I really feel sorry for this poor girl. Thankfully, they didn't let these rumors linger and further harm her. I hope the McCain campaign absolutely unloads on the websites who basically forced this admission and intrusion into her private life by propogating untrue rumors.

I'm guessing it was leaked that the daughter was pregnant, and rather than just let it go, somebody got the idea to spread the other rumor just to force them to announce it. There will be countless posts of glee talking about how great it is that a Christian woman has a daughter who got herself pregnant, etc., ad nauseum.

Now the liberal media and the Dems will use her teen daughter's pregnancy to try to discredit Gov. Palin. Of course this is going to backfire when people see how vicious the attacks on Gov. Palin will be.

It's then going to be used to make fun of the whole "just say no" thing, and be used to prove a point that condoms should be passed out in schools, etc.

There will be more words written about this in the next few days than anything substantive about either candidate. The libs will be more gleeful over this than they were with Gustav hitting New Orleans the week of the RNC.

Well I'm glad Sarah Palin came out and told the truth about what really happened. I'm sure the media will do something with the news that her older daughter is pregnant.

This gives Obama a chance to show some character, he is the one that first asked the media to leave the children out of the debate.

I wonder if he will speak out against media attempts to drag his opponents daughter through the mud.

I agree, but it will be an absolute disaster for them when they do it. For one, I'm sure that MANY of Obama's own supporters have found themselves in this situation. I wonder what they'll think if/when the 'tolerant' left uses this to rake her and the Palin family over the coals.

Its going to look pretty damn hypocritical for them if they condemn her while also claiming to support women and to support teenage, unwed mothers.

He'd better condemn all of these attacks against the Palin family ASAP. If the people start taking his silence on the issue as approval of these attacks, he's done.

I'm actually sincerely looking forward to Obama's response to this.

I will guarantee you that whatever reaction he gives will be gracious and kind. The only hope is that his legion of followers will take a cue from him and show some class and dignity as well.

By the looks of things here, it's not likely.

Good Ole' George Soros and his minions strike again. For someone who refuses to become a US citizen, he sure does spend a great deal of time paying for his hitsquad to interfere with US politics!!!
