The hype can probably be traced to the Web site of a 21-year-old college senior majoring in political science at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. Adam Brickley, a political buff who will graduate in May, started a "Draft Sarah Palin for Vice President" blog last year and has relentlessly promoted the idea ever since.

According to his "Blogger" profile, Brickley's interests include politics, Zionism, and "fighting socialism."

This kid started the "movement in Feb 2007, over a year and a half ago? She was less than a year into her first term as governor at the time, and had prior been mayor of a town of 9,000. So, to me, it is crazy to thik she was a possible vp running mate in early 2007.

"WE DID IT!!!!!!" crows Brickley's latest entry on the Draft Sarah Palin blog. "I'll have a lot more later, but needless to say I am positively elated."

It is so crazy to think that this lady has what it takes to be one heart-beat away from the presidency of the united states. Absurd.

Not to mention that she is being investigated for abusing power to benefit her personal agenda (firing a person who refused to fire her sister ex boyfriend from the state troopers office).

In conclusion, I doubt that mccain camp can bitch about obamas lack of experience or trendiness of his campaign after joining forces with an internet phenomenon himself.

I guess he wanted a little more glitz and glamor to his campaign, like Obama.

Weird world we all live in.
