Both the US and NATO took the Georgian conflict as a rehearsal for a future military operation in Iran, Russian military analyst Leonid Ivashov declared on Wednesday, quoted by RIA Novosti. He added that the international community was very close to a serious conflict against Iran.
He declared that the probability of a new war instrumented against Iran was growing every day because Washington officials adopted a policy of chaos. Regarding the Georgian conflict, Ivashov declared that NATO main goal was to neutralize Russia's role in the world.

This makes no sense at all. What on earth does Georgia and Russia fighting have to do with a dress rehearsal for the US to attack Iran. Somebody please fill in the gaps there because they arent self-evident and seem to require quite a stretch at best. So far just sounds like another dumb Ruskie running off at the mouth.
Pathetic. They're really reaching with this one. Exactly how does the Georgia-Russian conflict even REMOTELY resemble anything like something we MIGHT do in Iran. More lying, BS propaganda from the Russians. As you can see, they didn't forget anything from when they were the Soviet Union.
