You stated earlier that you were middle class. I assume this means you make less than $200,000 per year. If this is correct, you will be getting taxed less based on Obamas tax policy. His tax policy will give tax breaks to the bottom 95% of the population. You should really look into a candidates policy before you assume that you or the majority of the population will be taxed more. It is simply not true.

The only positive thing I can think of about a Nobama win is watching the media who loved him and praised him like he could walk on water start to tear him up the day he takes office. It would be entertaining, to say the least.

As far as McCain choosing Palin what it showed me is that McCain has heard the pleas of the Hillary supporters whereas Obama and the DNC turned a deaf ear and told us to shut up, get in line, and vote for him because we 'have nowhere else to go.' My answer Mr. Nobama, is yes indeed, I do have somewhere else to go and I will happily vote for that ticket. Myself and many other millions of disaffected, disenfranchised former Democrats. I wonder if your youth vote will make up for the loss of us -- the base of your party? We will see.

So, yeah.....as someone who is directly in the path of Gustav - I couldn't give a sh*t about Sarah Palin at the moment...

Really? O'Reilly himself said, "She has scant experience for a Vice Presidential pick."; so I certainly wouldn't say all Republicans/Conservatives are very happy with the pick.

On one hand, McCain's campaign has been attempting to reinforce his former "Maverick McCain" image, with a relatively unknown female pick, in order to draw in more independent voters. At the same time the campaign is attempting to solidify the conservative base with a pick that's even more conservative than McCain is. The problem is that they really can't have it both ways, and it is creating a divide amongst republican party members.

As to the notion of CNN's "blatant liberalism" in choosing to discuss a "stupid tropical storm"; that's quite ridiculous.

I suppose Bush is also a "blatant liberal" because he's chosen to cancel his RNC appearance in order to focus on the looming hurricane. Heck, the whole Republican party must be "blatant liberals" because they're considering canceling day two for this "stupid tropical storm".

I'm not saying that CNN doesn't lean left at times, but the OP's chosen "evidence", in this case, is downright absurd.

As far as I can tell, he is little different in regards to policies than McCain. He dropped his support for universal health care, thinks the U.S. should start a war into Pakistan to get Bin Laden, thinks the military spending should increase. He has enough corporate support and military support for anyone to realize that a vote for him is a vote for the military-corporate empire.

If CNN were liberal they'd be promoting some liberal candidates like Ralph Nader or the Green Party or even Ron Paul.

I cannot speak for the man (Michael Moore) since I've never met him.

AND, unless any of you have actually met the man, then the hating is inappropriate.
