I think Americans need to be reminded of something when listening to Hillary Clinton or any Democrat at the DNC.

During the Early 1990's when Bill Clinton first ran for the Office the President, another candidate running warned folks about the consequences of imposing NAFTA and GATT Treaties on the American people. That person, Ross Perot, warned Americans that there would be significant job losses and that our economy would suffer greatly. Well guess what folks, that is exactly what happened. We should have listened to Mr. Perot. He was absolutely right.

During the speech given by Hillary Clinton at the 2008 DNC, she blamed jobs going overseas on George Bush. You folks need to be reminded that her husband "SIGNED" the NAFTA and GATT legislation that allowed those jobs to go over there.

There only remains one question. IF OBAMA is selected to be President of the United States, will he sign the document to end NAFTA and GATT to bring those jobs and our MANUFACTURING ECONOMY back home to America.

We need to exit this SERVICE ECONOMY we are living with right now. America was once a proud and respected country when we had a MANUFACTURING BASE that was unequalled anywhere else in the world.

I agree with you. We need to bring back the manufacturing jobs. But lately even our service industry is outsourcing our jobs.

Cost and competition raise another issue. Businesses around the country are vying for ways to reduce cost while increasing effectiveness and productivity. By using overseas outsourcing, companies are able to save on one of the largest line item expenses in business – human capital.

United States customers complain about the language barrier and lack of service but neither company has suffered the loss of profits as a result of outsourcing.

This article gives some good reasons as to why we are losing our jobs in the service industry. I am pretty sure that some are also reasons for the loss of manufacturing jobs.

I feel everybody is to blame such as

Politicians-ineffective, outdated policies, gridlock

Corporations/Stockholders- greed for maximum profit

Consumers- complainers but we keep doing business with companies that send our jobs overseas.

Jobs went overseas because of corporate interest...not political. Follow the money...not the media...

IVY LEAGUE BUSINESS 101

You are guaranteed to make a profit!

At least that is what people believe, they think there is no risk because they can get bailed out, well folks, the Government is gonna have to come collecting cause it's out of money, that's right, no money left, only debt, and lot's of that. But they need to bail out the rich folks on Wall Street because thse folks believe that they are guaranteed a profit. Get your money out of the banks while you can, especially Citi-Bank, cause baby ... that one's a gonna blow.
