Twilight of the Psychopaths by Dr. Kevin Barrett
“Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That's what's insane about it.” – John Lennon, before his murder by CIA mind-control subject Mark David Chapman.
When Gandhi was asked his opinion of Western civilization he said it would be a good idea. But that oft-cited quote, is misleading, assuming as it does that civilization is an unmitigated blessing.
The article you cite doesn't mention sociopaths at all. I still maintain my position that sociopaths could not work within someone else's rules long enough to gain power of their own.

This is an interesting article discussing the nature of hierarchical social structures like secret societies, the military, political parties and corporations which facilitate the empowerment of psychopaths and sociopaths.
Given that Bush is reported to have participated in parties where child prostitutes were sodomized and otherwise abused, among his many other crimes, his statement to McClendon should be taken seriously.
Civilization, as we know it, is largely the creation of psychopaths. All civilizations, our own included, have been based on slavery and “warfare.” Incidentally, the latter term is a euphemism for mass murder.

Not just my opinion... the textbook definition. Sociopathic is a catchall term that refers to Dissocial Personality Disorder, Antisocial Personality Disorder and Psychopathy, as I outlined in the post I linked to. Hard to picture "antisocial" or "dissocial" types being the life of any party.

Then would it be safe to extrapolate from your comment that you believe sociopaths are unconventional and loners? An extremely convenient position for a Freemason.
Your "position" isn't worth much, unless you happen to be a psychiatric professional who happens to be doing cutting edge research that's going to change the definitions and descriptions already on the books. Somehow the likelihood of you being such a visionary researcher seems slim, but I'm willing to accept it if you'll put up your credentials to back up your "position."
My position is that psychopaths are medical defects and sociopath moral defectives. How they perform within a group really depends on their intelligence.
