Employer Spyware

Question. I'm wondering what feedback y'all have about all the spy technology that is available at the companies in which we work at today. Camera's track our every move and sometimes I even wonder if there is spyware in the washrooms, although if that was leaked, that may be too volatile, however I have my doubts.

Can anyone confirm what type of mic's there may be? I'm talking about really big firms. They halfto be everywhere, i'm sure of it. I've never heard anyone mention it.

Have you ever walked onto an elevator and the security takes you for a ride, or have you been on an elevator and seen people get on who are vip employees and they don't halfto press the buttons, the elevator automatically takes them to the floor that they want to go to?

Have you ever went to go through a revolving door and it automatically begins turning for you and you don't halfto use any effort?

How about other automatic doors(wheel chair based) opening around you?

I've heard that they have rooms within companies with screens all over from floor to celing where they can see every detail of what you're wearing however i've never seen it. Just wondering what feedback you guys have and forgive me If i should have posted this in another more appropriate forum.

It depends on what type of company it is and what you are handling. For many companies it's simply not worth their money and time to monitor everything. More monitoring always = more money.

Now in the right company there is a chance that many unusual places are bugged such as hallways, break rooms, elevators. However rest rooms are strictly off limits. If a company were caught doing that it would cause great harm to their reputation not to mention a HUGE class action law suite.

If you do believe you're being monitored don't try to debug it or evade it (too much) as you might end up fired.

My next question is directed to people who are knowledgeable about private investigators and I'm wondering if you all have any idea as to the extent of their knowledge and what they know about us? I mean, for major firms, these guys do more research than they do for like the police.. can anyone relate to that?
