I thought this was already posted here. Must of been a different forum.

Two and three and quite purposely named, so they don't really fit.

Ayds was really unfortunately named because it was a successful weight-loss product when the AIDS epidemic hit.

When the company was asked if they would change the name, they said, no, because they had the name first.

They went out of business because of the name's similarity to the disease and because of the irony of the product's purpose and the disease's symptoms, the old commercials are a hit on the internet.
