A message to Joseph Farah of WND

I think that you have fallen off the far right cliff with the “None of the Above” approach in the 2008 Presidential election.

If you are going to sell magnetic bumper stickers that read “Non of the Above” then stop selling the “NObama” bumper stickers because if conservatives tell conservatives not to vote, then might as well tell them to vote for the Democrat.

We have the right to complain about or approve of performance of our elected officials. Those that do not vote forfeit that right.

To sustain a Democracy there cannot be abstinence from voting.

The problem I see in that "message to Farah" is that the writer seems to equate "none of the Above" with "Not voting at all." The difference is there: "None of the Above" is a vote of No Confidence for any of the candidates, to be sure, but it is still a vote. Not voting at all is equal to "Abstinence Vote" which would require the voter to stay at home instead of getting to the voting booth & voting No Confidence.

A person who sends a message like that writer did, IMHO, is someone who needs to separate the difference between "I misunderstood" & "I've got my head up my @$$"

I agree in principle. However...

In today's world, where most people think they have two choices - Dem or Rep - and the two choices are really the opposite sides of the same counterfeit coin they keep handing us through the media (that will only buy one thing: NWO), not voting is just as good a choice as voting.

On top of that, the one who wins is the one they want to win. With hanky panky, such as blocking off access to polling sites in areas that will weigh in predominantly on the "unfavored" side, taking ballots to unlocked facilities (where who knows what happens to them), confusing ballots, and electronic voting machines with opaque code (where any result wanted will be what pops up)... With all this against a true election, again, voting is a waste of time.

You can climb onto a high horse and proclaim that anyone who fails to vote has no right to speak up, but the fact of the matter is that whether one votes or not, speaking up against tyranny is a good thing.

And voting is really moot.
