America,NATO and Allies cannot back down against Russian aggression.

Exchange the words America, NATO and Allies with the word Russia and vice versa.

More are becoming aware of Putin and his rise to power.Hes a thug as well as his oligarchy of criminals.

Replace the word Putin with the word Bush (Snr or Jnr, it doesn't matter).

The world will turn on the Russians as well as inside Russia.Hes created a youth movement so he has a source of racist footsoldiers.Hes former KGB he knows how to manipulate populations and turn us against one another like he did in Chechnya.

Replace the word Russia(ians) with America(ians). Replace the word youth movement with Blackwater. Replace the word racist footsoldiers with paid mercenaries. Replace the word KGB with CIA. Replace the word Chechnya with any other country that the USA has spoiled - take your pick.

The battle of my generation it seems has come and i will not run.Evil must be faced together cross all ethnic, racial and religious backgrounds. No one will be safe if this man is not confronted and stopped.

Two sides of the same coin, so what's your point?

It's useless waving the flag, when the 'other side' is doing the same thing. If only people would live peacful lives and not suck up the propaganda.

bush minor has castrated American military with Iraq, equipment is breaking down and not being replaced, reserve and national guard equipment and supplies are stretched to the breaking point and our soldiers are holding the bag... we have nothing to speak of to respond with... our diplomatic clout has been wasted by arrogance and idiocy.

In the reach for empire the ideologues in the bush administration ended the American century... from here on out we can only react but not lead.

But, seeing as how this thread is here, I may as well address it here. Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Al Qaida, Bosnia, Kosovo, the war on drugs, the war against copyright infringement, illegal immigration, etc all have one thing surrounding them which isn't true in this situation... they're all just one small piss ant nation or movement that found themselves on the receiving end of international sanctions followed by action being taken by either the US or UN peacekeeper forces. The war in Georgia was very, very different. We saw an independantly acting former super power make a strong statement indicating that it intends to become a super power again and soon.

Still, the invasion and occupation in Iraq is 100 times more strategically, politically and militarily more significant than the events in Georgia. The balance of power in the Middle East was swung towards Iran, as a result of Iraq occupation, and that's tremendously important. As for Georgia -- mostly a symbolic value. As you so eloquently put it, small piss ant nation.

Still Afganistan. if Saudi Arabia attacked us we would have invaded them. But the Taliban, the people who attacked us, were from Afganistan and controlled Afganistan.

You can't seriously be that clueless...

Either I'm talking to a troll or a 14 year old enjoying the last couple weeks of his summer break...

Either way it`s a complete waste of time to try and educate you about foreign affairs as you seem to thrive on ignorance. Maybe you`ll get to learn whats really going on if you stay awake during school this year.

The motto of the site is Deny Ignorance, yet you seem to embrace it

You're the clueless one. Where were the Taliban stationed? Where did they control the government? That's right, Afganistan. Duh.

lmao, I figured out your deal. You think the Taliban and Al-Qaeda are one and the same. Why not go a little bit further and call Hamas, Fatah, Hezbollah, and all the militias in Iraq all the same organization because they are all muslim

Pick up a book or something kid, I'm not wasting anymore time trying to educate someone who embraces ignorance.
