Man banned from girlfriend's home after noisy sex

news.yahoo.com

LONDON - A British man has been banned from visiting his girlfriend's home after neighbors complained about noisy sex, a local official said Thursday.

A court barred Adam Hinton, 32, from being within 110 yards of his 29-year-old girlfriend Kerry Norris' apartment, Brighton and Hove City Council spokesman Mike Taggart said.

Residents of Norris's publicly owned home had been complaining since 2006 about thumping music, banging headboards and screamed obscenities, Taggart said.

W... w.... what?

How is this possible? Sure i feel for the poor neighbours and i would hate to be one of them, however, banning someone from going to their girlfriends place is going a bit overboard isnt it?

If my neighbour keeps having his TV loud, does that mean i can get a court order to take his TV away from him? What about his lawn mower early on weekend morning?

what a bunch of looser lonely jealous neighbors.

If my neighbor was getting it that much, I'd congratulate him.

More power to you bud, and I hope you keep it crazy at your house too.

I have a question?

What if they get married or were married? Would they still ban him from banging his then wife?

Cause if so that would be so F'd up.. They shouldn't even do that now.. what happened to right to privacy? Oh ya.. Britain gave that up along with most of their rights.. never mind carry on.

Most leases an rental agreements have a part in there that says,

"You hereby agree to respect the Privacy and Quality of Life of your neighbors and will not lower that quality of life "

Something to that regards, But if they were married, they would of prolly evited them, Or been forced to end their lease because they breached it.

they have some fine lines with that kinda doings. Thumping music from other neighbors can be from past experiences some of the worst Moments, not to mention headaches you could ever have in your home.

Im sure their neighbors didnt agree to pay rent for their kids or even themselves to hear that kinda stuff, or else they could rent a porno, maybe a heavy metal xxx flick lol I dunno, Just know that if you pay money to live in a place you shouldnt have to put up with any disturbances from others on a continuous scale.

Not to mention, Im pretty sure the landlord can be sued for this.

Not that Im against others having a " good " time, But maybe use a ballgag next time.

This is just another case of Big Brother sticking his nose in places it just doesn't belong. I could understand the owner of the home having a 'no visitors' rule (like a hotel). The main purpose of that would be so people aren't piling into an apartment, but that's obviously not the case here. I would take a good look at the official court ruling and see if there's any technicality they could use in there advantage.

He's banned from trespassing on property for a noise violation. So what's the big deal?

His girlfriend can always come to his house, they can rent a motel, etc. It's not like he's never going to be able to see his girlfriend anymore.

If I had kids and I heard my neighbors screaming during sex like there's no tomorrow, of course I'll bring up the issue.

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

I admit, I get annoyed at first when neighbors have noisy sex, but if you stop and think about it, you have to admit it's impressive. Give them credit and go about your night, even if it means putting in a set of ear plugs (they're not expensive).

Some guys have had those girlfriends who could be heard down the street when they got going, and frankly, there's something to be proud of there. Sure, it's indecent and trashy, but it's damn impressive. It becomes like a contest, doesn't it?

I say good on 'em, and
on the neighbors who just aren't getting enough.

Now that I've said my piece, I should note that this seems like a very dangerous precedent. I'd love to ban the neighborhood kids from congregating at 'that house' down the street, but it's not right.

Even if the cops have to respond every night, I don't think it's fair to issue a restraining order just to keep the quiet. Booting her out for being a nuisance would be fair, I think. Telling her that her boyfriend can't come over is way too much intrusion into personal business.

Why doesn't the court just issue a gag order?

Well there wouldnt be that problem if they were married

But thats just wrong, in the states he could have sued for them taking his constitutional right to the persuit of happiness away.

I understand how that noise can cause great disturbance to the neighbors, same as when some neighbor decides to watch their porn really loud.

The solution is really simple, sound proof the sex room.

From reading the article, it says that she had been warned to keep it down and she didn't. I am sorry but to me this lady sounds like your classic snot nosed disrespectful neighbor.
