Hiii!

Hi everyone, just thought I'd do a formal introduction. If you'd care to read it.

If you decided you would read it, I might get started on the actual introduction. I'm currently 21 winters, born and raised in the lands of the north, Norway, but currently reciding in Bournemouth, UK. Film student by profession and will do that for 2 more years before the real world awaits.

I've always been interested in UFO's, conspiracies, the paranormal and science but haven't really done anything to act on these intrests. I am far from being a all eating naive twat and is more of a 'show me the evidence' sceptic. Which is one of the many reason why I am far from what can even be called slightly religious, but I am not a full blown "get rid of religion' atheist. I love reading different theories and claims made by all, but have a tendency to disregard them too quickly, which is something I need to work on.

So, any questions? Oh, and yeah, the real reason why I posted here is, where would I start a thread on time travel?

I'm not the best question to answer your question, but my best guess would be Skunk Works. But i guess it also depends on the contents of your thread, not just the subject.

Hi Fergu and welcome to ATS! Sounds like this is the perfect place for you and your many interests. So go post away and enjoy yourself.

Stop by BTS sometime. It's the lighter side of ATS when you need a good laugh, rant or chit-chat. It's a super place to get to know the other inmates......oops....silly me....I mean members.

And yes, try posting it in Skunk Works or possibly Space Exploration, again, depending on the content. But don't worry, if it doesn't fit it's category then a mod will move it for you.

As to where you would post time travel. As mentioned, it really depends on the overall nature of what you are discussing. If it is a discussion on the theory of time travel then probably Skunk Works, if you have proof or an inkling that governments are using it then something like the Military & Government Projects forum would work best... i could continue but i think you will understand where i am coming from. I hope that gives you a little to work with.

You will find this to be a wonderful community. Enjoy your time and remember to wear your TinHat and Deny Ignorance.

the ATS Handbook can answer a lot of your questions about the site as well, it's quite informative and helpful if you have questions regarding your Avatar, Signature, or purchasing perks in the ATS Store.

Points are a valuable commodity around ATS and some members want to know how to gain points quickly. There are several ways to do this. One is to podcast, Podcasting if you don't already know is kind of like making your own little radio show about some subject that you’re interested in. Also contributing to TinWiki is a great way to make some points in a big hurry. Also by joining up with Twitter, you can get a lot of points right of the bat.

In BTS (our sister board) one can also find fun games and contests that are happening now, and also get you those points. By signing up with ATS you are automatically signed up for BTS as well, all you need to do is log in and join in the fun with the rest of us.

One should also familiarize themselves with the Terms And Conditions Of Use for proper ATS etiquette and site rules, this helps everyone avoid problems.

Wow, now I feel right at home. Thanks for your replies and I hope I can contribute in some way or another. Although I'm far from being allknowing or even the slightest intelligent I may have my philosphical sides.
