Medical Mystery - Transferred Organ Donor Consciousness

Many recipients of organ transplants, (hearts/lungs, liver, kidney) have reported significant personality changes – which in many cases, correspond to the traits of the organ donor. Could the donor’s personality, memories or consciousness remain within their tissue cells and be passed on to another human being?

If the human soul / memories / power can be transferred from one human to another with live tissue - this gives a whole new perspective to vampirism / cannibalism.
It also explains a basis for the Jehovas Witness reluctance to accept organs or blood from another as it corrupts "the self"
It is also further evidence for life beyond death.

What you're talking about is cellular memory and evidence of this is anecdotal at best.
"The eye" was a pretty good movie though.

Well the original was quite good but the American remake with Jessica Alba was just awful...

On subject though, I am not sure if this concept of an afterlife appeals to me. Imagine dying in a car wreck and having your soul split into several pieces and then put into completely different people...
