US is Trying to Intimidate the Russian Bear!

US IS TRYING TO INTIMIDATE THE RUSSIAN BEAR!.. in order to scare it into submission in light of an upcoming strike by the US MILLITARY on Iranian Nuclear, Millitary, Industrial and finally Political targets.

The Russian Bear has been awoken and she is fierce! America's recent attack on Russia via a proxy war in Georgia was possibly the start of WW3..

Something will set it off very very soon. Post cease-fire the US has now come out with statements condemning Russia, and calling for nations to change their stance towards the former U.S.S.R. This is all heading very quickly to a MASSIVE confrontation!

Any ideas what will set it off?

The US did put the Russian Bear into intimidated submission.

The whole world sees it this way. The US is once again victorious and didn't even have to lift a finger to do it.

So your saying that there hasn't been a real cease fire, and that Russia is really planning on a much larger attack on Georgia, this time using the navy as well?

I have to agree with Plucky. The assumed cease fire.

Russia is again flush with cash thanks to their oil discoveries and the huge oil market.
Most all of that money is going to their military, not the citizens or the infastructure.

Also, rumor has it that the US and our luke warm protest against the action in Georgia was planned. Accroding to the rumors, yes those rumors are here on ATS, they will now look the other way when we go into Iran with Isreal.

I doubt that Russia and the US will get into it. The Russians are just not up to speed enough yet. Seriously old weapons, poorly train troops and no Navy to speak of.
Don't even get me started about the nuclear thing. It simply will not happen.

They don't need any of that, or a Navy, they have China.

One line for rhetorical impact.

Maybe this is all just a massive viral campaign for the new PC game coming out next year, Red Alert 3
(And yes, there are Russian bears when you play as the Soviets)

I agree with one thing, this stirs all the strings in me as well. I saw a russian spokesman all stired up on cnn today that leads me to believe they are ready to dance... they were making some threats.

War is still very much on in my opinion.. You shall now witness Nation rise against Nation.. then perhaps Barack Obama will come to the rescue next year with a massive peace deal between stumbling block Israel and it's enemies.. so beginning the first 3.5 years of a fake peace that will be broken ushering in the last 3.5 years before the return of Jesus Christ at the battle of Armoggedon.

yes! i saw the same interview... and when the interviewer was asking if Russia had stopped attacking Georgia, the general kept repeating himself saying that they would still be attacking Georgia if it continues to be aggressive. (which sounds fair enough to me)

man something big is brewing...

I tend to disagree with you here.. I believe Russia will lead China, Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, Egypt and Hamas against Israel and the US.. look for China to invade Taiwan once Iran is attacked
