World Wide UFO Hunt

So I am reading the post called "I'm going outside" www.abovetopsecret.com... and it is occurring to me that this may be a great idea. I am sure I am not the first one to have the idea, but we should try it.

Let's pick a day every month that we all go outside as a group and search the skies at a predetermined time; maybe for an hour or so. We could all bring our cameras and just enjoy the outdoors. My thinking is that UFO reports are seemingly becoming more abundant and the only way to verify them would be with more than one witness at different locations all over the world (kind of like SETI does). We could bring all of the data back to ATS to see if there are any similarities. It could take many sessions, but I think it is a worthwhile venture.

Maybe a proactive hunt for ET would provide more results than just sitting here maliciously punching holes in other peoples stories.

I am not sure of the best way to start a monthly hunt, but would welcome any suggestions.

it's a good idea and ties into an idea I had about banding together to try and create worldwide ufo watch venture that would pool its findings on a special website that would alert members across the world in real time (or as close to as possible) about ufo sightings going on in their own city...read through the ideas laid forth there and see what you think. The net /ufo community has nothing like it as yet but it would be a great step forward.
If I had the resources in my bank account right now I'd be initiating it myself. Alas, no funds and would also need help to get it going. I run a tarot site at the moment you see and can't afford to put that to one side. I'd take a few months off it though to get the global ufo site going but need sponsorship.....

and greys being telepathic and all... they'd get our message straight away.
even if its not greys (which i kinda hope its not coz it seems they are the 'experimental' type) it would still be shweet.

I agree that there should be a website, but as you stated, finding the financial resources is the problem. I think if enough people were interested we could actually use the ATS site as our meeting place. We would just need to establish dates to hunt and post. If we used a key word or phrase that everyone could find in a search it could be quite easy.

I will think about this some more. Any suggestions for the "group name"?
