Tapped In - I am thrilled to hear your children are doing better. A cousin of mine is autistic and has gone through years of diet and chelation
therapy. She's not doing as well as your kids, but at least she's not a constant danger to herself anymore :-)
MeanDirtyKiller - I'm going to get all "conspiracy theory" again, so please pardon how it sounds. This is just my observation. There are a LOT of
natural, wholistic cures out there in the world for a variety of ailments, including autism. BUT, if they were allowed, how would the doctors,
pharmacies, drug companies, etc make their money?
Not everyone with autism responds to the same treatment. Check out the
Generation Rescue web site to see a
lot more stories like Tapped In's.
As mystiq pointed out, the FDA is taking increasingly overt steps to ban anything that resembles natural health.
For example - Vitamin B6. It is essential for healthy blood cell function, and it's used in over 100 enzymatic reactions involving protein
metabolism. Medicure Pharma, Inc. is in the early stages of seeking FDA approval on marketing it as a drug. Based on FDA law, this would allow them to
forcibly remove it in supplement or natural form from any store that sells it. The only way to get the B6 at that point would be through a
prescription, taking pills that are mixed with who knows what else.
Think it's crazy? There are dozens of documented examples of this happening in the last few years. U2U me if you want more info, I'll try to stay
off the soapbox right now.
