Unusual shaped object filmed over New York

I know the posting of Youtube videos has annoyed several of the veteran members of this site recently, but this odd shaped object has me puzzled enough to seek your opinions.

Its shape makes me think it's a balloon but i'd expect it to be travelling further, especially considering its altitude.
Anyone seen anything similar which could explain it?

It doesn't look like a balloon to me. At the very end of the video, it almost seems there is an opening for engine exhaust in the middle of the object. But the way it moves makes me think the wind is affecting it. It reminds me of a Cylon Raider from Battlestar Galactica! It is perplexing though.

Its shape reminds me of Anthony Woods UFO filmed over Southampton..

..only without the red lights.
I see the exhaust type light in the middle but think thats more light reflection.
I agree it looks more like something out of a sci-fi show than your usual UFO fare.
