August 08, 2008: War in South Ossetia: Georgia launches an attack into the break away region of South Ossetia, this has lead to the Russian invasion of Georgia that could involve NATO forces in a conflict with Russian. If it does not come to that this conflict will be the closest to a world war happening in the 21st century so far.

I was searching for info about the conflict and found that in google-cache there's a different page about World War III (see link, its the cache version). Ife you normaly access the page then the last entry is deleted..

Any thought about why this is done..?

I have to assume you don't understand how wikipedia works, it may be worth you reading up on that.

check here:

en.wikipedia.org...

and here

en.wikipedia.org...

basically, one user added that text, and another disagreed and removed it. No censorship here, just business as usual on wikipedia.

EDIT: just to let you know, the removing editor gives the reason OR, which means original research. If the first editor can find a mainstream news source that stated this, then the paragraph may be able to be reinstated with the source reference added.

I was not able to drop this link to the cease-fire agreement text in the Wikipedia pages about the Georgian conflict.
