According to Globalsecurity.org, Georgia has no fixed wing a/c but helicopter. Do you have more details?
The newest information told that Georgia has claimed ceasefire after Russ sent 150 armoured vehcles into South Ossetia. I'm wondering only 150 tanks
can forced Georgia offer ceasefire? The tanks they had even less than 150?
I remember that at one time (maybe a decade ago) I had read that Latvia had an armored corps consisting of a whopping number of tanks : 3.
So anything is possible I guess.
As for the Georgian fixed wing force, I believe they have Su-24s and 25s, and I believe ground attack configurable L-29s and 39 trainers.
There are some rumors of them having MiG-25s.
The Georgian military is up against some extraordinary odds. The Russians have advanced to the point where they no longer use the MiG-21, which is
still in service with the Georgia.
Training is also a major issue. Clearly, the Russians are much better at warfighting than the Georgians are.
