Strange anomaly occurred between solar eclipse on the 1. of August 2008

Ok, did you observed the solar eclipse on 1. of August? I did . It was very nice until I spoted an unusuall anomaly on the right bottom corner of the sun. I took a "print screen" from online observation video. Then I browsed the photos from SOHO and compared them. Here are those photos.. look at them and tell me what is this anomaly? BTW sun wasnt active at all.

A diamond ring effect is seen during a solar eclipse above River Ob in the Siberian city of Novosibirsk, August 1, 2008. A solar prominence can be seen erupting on the right side.

Hi, sorry but it looks like a plane old Coronal mass ejection. Nothing odd in that.

Thanks for the answer. I thought it was some kind of eruption but strange to me is that the sun wasnt active at all. At least from SOHO pics.

That's a solar prominence. The sun does that all the time. No need to hit the bomb shelter just yet.

The sun is a huge nuclear reactor. It's very active all the time.
