Internet Censorship is On it's Way? The i-Patriot Act

www.yff365.com

There’s going to be an i-9/11 event. Which doesn’t necessarily mean an Al Qaeda attack, it means an event where the instability or the insecurity of the internet becomes manifest during a malicious event which then inspires the government into a response. You’ve got to remember that after 9/11 the government drew up the Patriot Act within 20 days and it was passed.

The internet has to be next on their list, they can have all us conspiracy theorists or freedom of speech for that matter.

Internet is the greatest weapon against the NWO, so you know they have to control it, like everything else.

The most pure medium

I love being able to speak my mind here...
Its my AMERICAN RIGHT...

So while the schools have destroyed free-speach, it exists here...

Where you can call a murder-rapist a criminal
Where you can Call an illigal alien, an illigal alien
Where you can call a moron a moron

Censorship is the means of trynary...

"In addition, we have already seen how the major corporate websites and social networks are decentralizing and coming together to implement overarching identification, verification and access systems that have been described by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg as “the beginning of a movement and the beginning of an industry.”

Some of these major tech companies have already joined efforts in projects such as the Information Card Foundation, which has proposed the creation of a system of internet ID cards that will be required for internet access. Of course, such a system would give those involved the ability to track and control user activity much more effectively. This is just one example."

I see that possible, if the government controls a majority of the DNS servers, they win.

There "is going to be..."

I think there just was:

www.cnn.com...

If you think of the Internet as similar to mail, what this flaw is basically doing is hijacking the post office itself to steal people's mail instead of going to their mailbox to do it.

The purpose is to carry out attacks called "Phishing," where you try to fool people into providing private information to what they think is a secure web site they trust - in reality, it's you the hacker running a fake version of that site.

In the past, there were two ways they could do this: They could spread a computer virus that would hijack people's web browsers and direct them to their fake site when they were trying to go to a secure one, or they could use misspelled versions of popular web site addresses in hopes that people would use the wrong spelling and end up at their Phishing scam site.

But, with this new flaw, they can redirect massive amounts of traffic to their Phishing site without infecting computers - which relies on unsecured systems - and without using misspelled addresses - which can be spotted by a sharp eye or detected by anti-phishing software.

And guess what? It utilizes the decentralized nature of the Internet to carry the whole thing out. That's an important point.

It should be noted that this particular security flaw has already been discovered and work is already under way to take quick action. Most of the vulnerable systems have already been patched, and the bug is just now being announced.

But what if it's just the first attack like this? If more flaws like this one are discovered - or even if this one is utilized on a massive scale before the remaining systems are fixed - then that could be your I-9/11 right there.

It would be all too easy for the bad guys to stand before the government and say, "This is why we need a centralized Internet: To close these exploits up for good!"

The old geezers in Congress would swallow it up hook, line and sinker.

What is frightening is not that there is an I-Patriot act, but that there is apparently a Patriot act sitting in the wings for every and any aspect of our lives and libertys. All good things come to an end, and this stage of civilization is about to implode into the black hole of a government with so much mass that it sucks not only the libertys but the ability to survive right out of the people it is supposed to defend.

They can never truly censor or control the internet. Its impossible. There is 1000 ways to encrypt things and hide things and hack things and crack things.
Criminals and hackers are already using the government and corporates own networks to commit internet crimes and send massive spam.
Its really the last frontier they will never be able to totally control.
But of course they will try and that will be annoying.

I think that is the most outrageous conspiracy theory I've heard.
The internet isn't in one language.

I appreciate the thought though, not bashing you, thats impossible.

That's the point. They want to make the Internet so that there's only one way to send information: Through "them," whoever "they" are. The plan is for a centralized Internet to replace the current decentralized Internet. You want a web site? You get it from them. You want a domain name? You pay rent to them. You want to send your friend an IM? It goes through their server.

What you are talking about is thousands of ways to hide and encrypt information on a form of the Internet that will be utterly destroyed. The new world wide web will contain nothing they don't want you to see, just like Television does today. And if they find that they can't control it, there's only one system to shut down and all that free thought and expression is utterly silenced... immediately.
