Hello people. I was just visiting my Area Weather station Website a few minutes ago. On the site there is the "Eagle Eye" Camera that takes Stills every few minutes or so. Well I had a chance to save this still of what looks to me like a strand of hair, but then again why would it be way up there? A birds eyelash?
I don't know. It could be a rod of some sort.

I am not a big expert (and this is an understatement) but i have several photos like it - when small dust particles or plant seeds (in one case) flew close to camera when i took a picture.

Yes. This mostly likely is nothing more then something the wind picked up. But then again, To have something so small fly right up against a 4 inch camera lens?

Well tons of useless stuff gets picked up by the wind, it's not unlikely for something to hit the camera.

Let me take something from last night, I was sitting in my car and my window was open. 10 mins into the ride a bee flew right thru the window (car going at 65 mph) and hit me. Chances of that? Not that low.

Yea I guess you are right. I just find it interesting that what looks like a hair actually hitting a camera that high.

Is this serious?

I mean honestly? It doesn't matter how it got there it doesn't exactly look like an intergalactic cruiser does it?

However it got there it's clearly just hair/fibre/strand of cotton or something.

It doesn't look alien in the slightest so I don't understand why it's in this forum...

I got to the bottom of it, you you look at the next frame you realise it's none other than 80's comedy favourite the baldy man failing to keep his comb over in check.
