who makes these horrible textbooks!

Well looking back, I never really agreed with the stuff I read out of the text books because: a) it was not in my best interest at the time, b) it ranked of pure propaganda and c) it had NWO stamp all over it...

All right I will quote straight from these books: "We should be reminded, however, that the property rights of a individual are relative and limited. Definition of eminent domain: the rights of the society rank above the individual. (keep in mind that the title of this chapter is "Our Free Enterprise System") When you think about it it does make sense. After all, without government and the rule of law, no one's private property would be safe."

Now that is frightening... the questions are even weird, like they try to see if you are learning the way of socialist right: "Do you think the government has the right to tell you that you can not open your business on Sunday's?"

Socialism is not an overnight thing. But it is plaguing this nation, USA, at night, in the dark and in silence. Preparation is already in place the officials are only waiting for the right time to pluck us from the tree. It is a disease that we should address before it is too late.

I wish to leave this open with one final quote: "We have security in our possessions because our government has the power to guarantee it."

Yeah, it is sickening. The victors write the "history," "facts," and the "law" - NWO. I would never trust the "truth" behind a textbook. I always found it funny how a lot of teachers I had, never taught out of the textbook, their reasoning when asked? "There are too many errors and falsities in these textbooks." Although, this is a very small minority that don't teach out of textbooks - the majority still teach out of them religiously, the textbook is "truth!"
Take away the answer book from them though and they can't seem to teach anymore.

I have security in my possessions because I'll kill anyone who trie to take them (I probably wouldn't go that far, maybe beat them into submission - just like Big Brother). The government can't guarantee anything except that they'll be sure to take our money away through taxes - by whatever means necessary.

The one thing that always gets to me about these 'textbooks' is that they always imply that Justice and 'The Law' are the same. They are not.
For example, the Law says that if a paedophile abused a child, then he goes to jail. Justice says that he gets his bollocks cut off and a red hot poker stuffed up his arse. I'm on the side of Justice.

Personally, I don't really think that a NWO will be coming in anytime soon, but I do agree that textbooks are filled with crap. The victors write history. Or in this case, the writer behind the text book.

About propaganda, we dont really have that much of it here in Aus. The textbooks i've been reading in school seem pretty objective. At least about the hard issues like aboriginals. When it comes to WWII...well, lets say that Aussies seemed to be the force that won it . At least according to the books.

Masterp you need to define socialism a little better. USSR and China attempted to be communist, not socialist. Any good lefty will tell you they did not have true communism though. Communism hasn't worked because it just hasn't been funded properly Now we have "democratic socialism" in Europe, that means socialism with democratic elections. Socialism is when the state owns industry; airlines, railways, power generation, shipping, vehicle manufacturing, health care that kind of thing. Doesn't mean the state owns all industry. Decribes many countries in Europe

they had a new textbook come out in the last 5 years, Ill dig up the name of it, but it was in newsweek for being controversial as it didn't display the europeans in a good light, and more of a imperialistic pilaging, killing light, as pretty bloodthirsty... it claimed to cover more of the hidden history that isnt' covered, but I never heard of it again, I dont think too many teachers picked it up due to parent outrage
