First off, sorry, I have no photographs of this, only a diagram of what happened. Anyway, even if I did take a picture, you wouldn't have seen a
thing as the object was quite faint.
Anyway, I was outside with my mum watching the night sky for about an hour. A few things happened that were unusual but one thing really freaked me
out...
My mum noticed a star-like object moving from North to South, going pretty fast. It seemed as if it was almost dodging invisible objects in it's way
as it moved forwards, it would also slow down and speed up again, etc. The only thing I can compare it's odd movement to is a bee, flying around a
garden visiting different flowers.
Anyway, I kept watching it and it covered a pretty large distance in a short time. Eventually, it came close to what I assumed was a star, but that
star moved also, almost to avoid collision! What then happened was the strangest thing I have ever seen and my heart nearly went into my throat! The
first object that was moving stopped, the second moving object which looked like it was trying to avoid a collision moved slightly backwards and
upwards, I then realised that there were three star-like objects, which formed a perfect triangle. As soon as they formed the triangle, they
completely vanished.
I drew a diagram to explain more clearly what happened. The arrows in diagram 1 obviously indicate the movement of the "stars". Star C didn't move
until Star A was very close.
Diagram 2 shows the final formation before "leaving".
One other thing I saw was a similar star-like object moving quite slowly heading North, it then suddenly, what looked like, exploded and flew off
amazingly fast.
I can't believe how much activity there is out there. It's amazing. I'm lost as to why they choose to form a triangle shape before leaving. Maybe
they combine energy together to get enough "boost" to leave?
I think I'm going to buy a telescope, I'm really interested about this. I'll definately be keeping an eye out at night in the future.
