Five UFOs stun Stratford-Upon-Avon crowds
Five UFOs were spotted in the sky over Stratford-Upon-Avon in Warwickshire and are reported to have so amazed the crowd that gathered to watch, that the town was brought to a virtual standstill.
Drinkers left the comfort of the pubs to join motorists who had stopped to watch the five mysterious lights that flew above Stratford-Upon-Avon for at least half an hour. Other people hearing the commotion left their houses to see what all the fuss was about.
The UFOs were first noticed after 10.30pm, when they were seen moving slowly over the town of Stratford-Upon-Avon before three of them formed a triangular shape with another one just to the right.
A short time later a fifth UFO was seen coming towards the others. It was moving incredibly fast before it slowed down and seemingly stopped not far away from the others.
Sceptics have claimed the UFOs were no more than hot air balloons, fireworks or even lanterns, but witnesses were not at all convinced by these explanations.
One Elm pub chef Kern Griffiths, 26, is reported to have said: "I saw five lights, we all thought they were hot air balloons at first because the glowing spheres looked like a burst of flames. But I couldn't see any outline of the balloon itself and they were travelling far too fast."
Birmingham Air Space, which is in charge of monitoring the skies in the Stratford-Upon-Avon area, said that no unusual activity had shown up on radar on the night on which the UFOs were sighted.
A video of the Stratford-Upon-Avon UFOs has been posted on the YouTube website.
