Paris Hilton's Mom Takes Offense at McCain's Humor

On Sunday, Hilton's mother, Kathy Hilton, a McCain donor, registered her disapproval.

"It is a complete waste of the country's time and attention at the very moment when millions of people are losing their homes and their jobs," Kathy Hilton said in a short article posted on the liberal Huffington Post Web site. "And it is a completely frivolous way to choose the next president of the United States."

The ad plays on Obama's popularity by dismissing him as a mere celebrity, like Hilton and Spears.

He's not a celebrity, he's a politician!

He's a "POPULAR" politician, and McCain has no idea what that is, so he compares him to two celebrities!

What does McCain think of the ad?

"We think it's got a lot of humor in it, we're having fun and enjoying it."

Humor? He must have a really BAD sense of humor (oops, my bad, he already has proven that on numerous occasions).

Instead of trying to get his political ideas out to the public in his ads, he'd rather "have fun" with his ads!? Great campaign plan there!

What else did she have to say?

Kathy Hilton, however, was unpersuaded, calling the ad "a complete waste of the money John McCain's contributors have donated to his campaign."

And I think I must agree!

American’s owe a big thanks to the likes of Paris, Lindsay, Brittney, Terra, ANS (rip my secret friend, if you are 'really' dead? )
If it wasn’t for the unruliness of a few, this country would surely be dressed in Quaker suits, if the christian right had their way.

Mccain is running a 1990's campaign. He needs to quit picking on people who have the guts to be free, in an unfree society.

but doesnt get offended when Paris is pumping out porn tapes like a puppy factory on overdrive?

I mean cmon.

First off, i support Obama, so this kind of media coverage is awesome (the kind that paints mccain the idiot he is)

But still, common sense says the Hiltons should just shut their damn mouths. When this is all said and done with - they could buy the damn TV station and fire everyone who works there.

Seriously - some people need to realize when they have it too good, and shut their mouths about mundane issues.

Hmmm.

I have to admit that this is the first time I've heard Paris Hilton sound intelligent.

Ok, I know that there had to be whole slew of staff to get her lines correct and effective, but you have to admit, this was pretty darn funny.

And the energy plan? Well, it didn't sound half bad. A merger of both Democratic and Republican ideas all rolled up in one.

Although I don't think about Paris Hilton very much, this campaign of hers was "HOT" (Sorry couldn't resist).
