Convenient Anthrax Suicide

How advantageous...a timely suicide puts any possible investigations to bed.

Bruce Ivins took his secrets to the grave. I think the biggest secret might be that he could have been murdered. I haven't seen this much news coverage online for this story since Britney Spears shaved her head!

Let's refresh the circumstances of the anthrax mailings.

Months before 9/11 Senator Jim Jeffords (R-Vt) left the Republican party on 8May 24, 2001), stating his new affiliation as an independent over the issue of No Child Left Behind. Before he left, the Senate was at 50-50 Republican/Demorat and when he left, it changed the balance in favor of the Democrats, giving them temporary control of the Senate. Tom Daschle became the senate majority leader (the person deciding what legislation would be voted on and when), and Pat Leahy (D-Vt) became chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, taken away from Arlen Specter (R-Pa.) The Patriot Act had to first make it out of this committee before moving forward for voting in the Senate. Tom Daschle then had to bring it up for a vote. Both Daschle and Leahy had publicly stated they had strong reservations about passing the Patriot Act because of the damage it did to our Constitutional rights. They were talking about making certain amendments.

Both of these men were in a position to stop the bill from moving forward. Both had staff working hard of critically analysing the bill. This unconsitutional legislation was essential to the Administration to be used as a foundation to remove even more of our Constitutional rights.

Isn't it convenient that the only two men who could stop the Patriot Act both received anthrax letters?

Perhaps Ivins committed suicide to prevent any investigations from going further, leading to the White House.

Suicides are convent game stoppers. Remember Vince Foster.

And James Hatfield. Hatfield wrote an unauthorized biography of GWB with some pretty credible evidence that W had been busted for coc aine. In W's own official bio, he writes about a period when he was working in the inner city with disadvantaged people for a short period of time (either 30 or 90 days) and almost breaks his arm praising his altruistic nature. This period of time was community service he was serving for getting busted for coc aine. Before Bush became governor of TX, his daddy had his records completely erased and Gonzales issued him a new driver's license so that absolutely no links to his past on any government computer could be initiated.

Conveniently Hatfield committed suicide and the remaining stock of his books at the publisher were shredded.

Suicides have a way of ending investigations.

Not so conveniant for Ivins.

Seems to be a textbook suicide by someone who was clinically depressed. the pattern leading up to his suicide is clear:

- Recently received psyciatric treatment. Was hospitialized for depression earlier this month.
- Ordered last week to stay away from a social worker who counceled him.
- was removed from his workplace out of fears that he might harm himself or others.

Sounds more like he just could not handle the pressures of what all was collapsing round him.
