reply mail box idea

not sure if this has been brought up before or not but is there any way currently to know if someone has replied to one of your posts without you having to go back to the thread and look ?

i was having visions of logging on and hearing "you've got reply's"

if it is your own thread i think most people will check on their own but if i posted a response in someone elses thread and they didn't respond for a couple day's as an example...i find it annoying that i won't know it unless i go looking and that can be quite a task if you post in many forums ?

the rss feed only tells you if someone has posted something in a thread but does not tell you if it was directed at you ?... am i right ?

maybe there is a way to do this already ?

i think this would improve conversation content ?

Hey there

check out "my ATS" at the top of that page,

As all threads you have started or replyed to will show at the top and what member posted last, So that way you can go down your list and see what others have said after you,

well i went and looked but i still don't see how it shows you if someone replied to a post of mine.

it shows that posts were made in the thread but thats all i see ?

Oh you mean in direct response to yours,

As of yet we dont have a way to do that, but It will be something that we will review when site changes happen, Just with so many posts it can be a bit hard to impliment,

So "myATS" pretty much seems to be the closest thing we have to it at this moment in time,

i also agree, it would be great if we could have some sort of icon that we can hit and go to the post in that thread. or some kind of email "ding" that tells us a reply has been posted.

i've lost the ball on a few conversations because i didn't chime in soon enough.

yes direct responses...i think it would be a great idea and probably would appeal to many members.
