Domestic Cold War

What we are experiencing here in the US has not been politics as usual. I believe it has been a long term plan now finally coming to a head. It isn't the NWO everyone's so scared of on one side- and can't wait to vote for on the same hypocritical side. It's the normalization of global socialism - so communism won't seem so bad to a once proud people.

I was glad to see this article today on one of my favorite websites. It explains the things I've thought for so long- but haven't been able to gel internally so that such an all encompassing conspiracy could be clearly conveyed...

There are many issues to disagree on or have different solutions for- so why is it always the same groups of people with obviously un-American views, whose solutions are always based on systems that not only don't work- but have been proven to be absolutely self-destructive?

Yes I do want to talk about a conspiracy. Why don't you elucidate on the above paragraph. What systems are self destructive and don't work. Currently the US shouldn't be pointing any fingers as it's system isn't working to well at the moment with a cadre of thieves and liers at the helm, interested only in sucking up to their corporate masters. A corpratracy if you will.

It's a domestic cold war alright; the administration against the taxpayers of the middle class, To enrich the likes of war profiteers, oil companies and Enron types.

I find it astonishing that taxpayer bailouts for the corps, is free enterprise, but social programs used to feed the poor and elderly is socialism.

Higher taxes is number one on the list.

To punish the producers and to award the non-producers will not only land your economy in the toilet- it also destroys the spirit of free men.

Lower taxes earn more money for the government not less. It's been proven again and again but what is the lefts answer to getting out of our current economical down-turn? You guessed it- higher taxes! duh...

edit to add: It's not just the government either. The NY Times- who put their own paper in the crapper- have a perfectly lefty answer to their economic woes...raise the price! I know, you thought a newspaper made more money selling adverts then papers, and you'd be right. But why would the liberal rag that is the Grey Lady lower the price of a news paper- there-by getting it into more hands and selling more adverts- when such a terrible idea that never works is so available?

Then please explain how Clintons economic policies resulted in a lower deficit and a surplus. And we now enjoy the largest deficit in history, And GWB actually has raised taxes via higher gas prices. How much of the increase in gas prices, get funneled back to the fed? Who do you think
benifits from this tax increase? Oil subsidies perhaps.
