SWAT Team Honored For Raid On Wrong House

On Monday, Minneapolis Police Chief Tim Dolan handed out honors to a team of officers involved in a botched raid at an innocent family's home more than seven months ago. The family is upset and their attorney criticizes the awards and questions the timing.

Very Interesting.. Disturbing indeed.

But the interesting thing was, I live in the Twin Cities, and this is the first I heard about it, and I read the newspaper daily and ATS daily.

But I remember the botched raid, I laughed pretty hard at their inability.

But handing out a reward, looking at this from a citizen standpoint, disappointing.

Disturbing not likely !
they were given awards for a job well done
they were able to do their job an error of the house is not what the award is for. the award is for handling that mistake in a fashion that resulted in no loss of life and defused a potentially terrible incident .

Okay, so if these guys got an award for handling the situation "professionally," was the person who was responsible for the bad raid forced to end their profession? No of course not.

EDIT to add: Apparently they got the word from a snitch that there were guns in the house. I bet the snitch is pissing his pants laughing, unless the cops offed him and dumped the body somewhere in reprisal.

"SWAT Team Honored For Raid On Wrong House"

I'm sorry to tell the police, that there is no HONOR in assaulting citizens.

And they should cease cooperating with destroying our constitution.

You know, the one they swore to protect.

It takes some BACKBONE to not enforce laws that somehow got passed.

It is the right AND the duty of citizens to not cooperate enforcing or complying with unconstitutionl laws.

The NAZIS who were found guilty of war crimes, we're "just following orders"...same thing as following laws that are UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
