I know what you mean about being able to figure out what people are thinking. And I have also had many experiences with knowing what's going to
happen before it does.
As for the first, I think, ignorant as it may sound, that some people are just born with the ability to perceive things that most others can not. I
doubt that helps much, but it's my opinion.
As for the second, most of my "predictions" happen as follows: the outer area of my line of sight (mostly the peripheral vision, but also some at
the direct top and bottom of my sight) turns bright white and blurry. I then get a bit light headed (not in a bad way) and know everything that's
going to happen in the next 15-20 seconds. Nine times out of ten, I can distinctly remember having a dream in the past (some as far back as ten or so
years) where this exact scenario happened.
My recommendation to you if you experience the latter would be to keep a journal of all the dreams you remember as being very vivid with "every day"
situations unfolding. No detail is too small. At the very least you should be able to take any doubt of your own mind as to whether or not it's deja
vu.
If it has nothing to do with dreaming, then congratulations on your ability to make predictions and I hope you find the best way for you to develop
your ability.
