it seems to have a different trajectory at the end of the clip than at the beginning, didn't know paint flakes could do that

Good video indeed, I myself haven't seen this before and yeah, it actually looks like huge piece of "PAINT" from the hand rails. LOL
How pathetic is that? Get a life NASA!

Nice video. The object does appear to be in flight and adjusts its flight path a few times. Not typical of space debris just floating around.
You got to love the explaination from the woman in the video.
Paint flakes from the handrail. That's a good one.

You hear how she pauses before she says it like someone is feeding it to her. "It might be um possibly...(2 second pause)...flakes of paint from the handrails.

Def a good vid

The paint must have been remotely controlled because it goes down, then up, then left and so on and so on.....

It's always debris huh?

I guess paint can do all that in space...maybe?

whats weird is that the object is flickering like it's tumbling. but space debris although usually found tumbling doesn't change direction at will. Could it only appear to be tumbling but is actually pulsing.

Come on people. It IS paint flecks. I don't get it. Paint can fleck off of anything. It can cause a flashing sensation to come from it and it CAN change direction due to the solar winds.

LOLOLOL

Okay, I tried. I know that it will be torn apart by some 'experts'.

However, to me, it's just about the same as any other video taken from any space object. Not quite good enough to show you what it is but enough to make you wonder.

Paint flakes...
NASA, when are you going to learn? People LOOOVE UFOs! National security? Pffft. Think about the funding. Official admittance of UFOs would get NASA the kind of media coverage its been lacking for years. Checkbooks would be flying open, I guarantee it.

Although I do kind of agree with dariousg's analysis. It could just be paint flecks here, annoyingly enough.

"Ahhhh....Houston we have a problem"......beep........" We are under attack by an unidentified paint chip alien force"......beep......
I can not believe that they actually think that anyone would buy the paint chip excuse. It is actually worse than the military typical response of " It's swamp gas".Maybe the aliens have been amongst us all these years...disguised as paint chips. Un freaking believable.sigh...

The paint flake doesn't have to do that, the station does. If the station changes directions slightly with a thruster pulse then it will appear to the camera's point of view that the flake, which is much closer than the scenery behind it, will change direction. Because the delta v isn't all that great for any given thruster firing, the earth and stars will not appear to change positions at all.
