The campaign for Gary McKinnon to have his case heard in the UK is increasing with calls from all corners of the British community to look again at the law lords ruling.

It is quite easy it would seem, to have a Brit extradited to the USA for a legal case, but near impossible to get an American extradited to the UK for the same reason, as they protect their citizens far better!

Gary was purely trying to find the truth and although he admits that he committed a potential crime, does this really validate claims of a potential 60 year jail term in the USA? He may even have to spend months/years in Guantalemo Bay being held as a would-be terrorist!!

Murderers walk free on much shorter jail terms, so this is a potential, injustice and something must be done NOW!

couldnt agree more nomad.

we in the UK do not extradite illegal immigrants as they usually will recieve unfair trials if returned to there home country, i.e iran, iraq, north korea, sierra leonne etc.

yet well lie down to the US and hand over one of ours who will no doubt be flung in gitmo or locked away without trial for 60 years without seeing the sun.

China have been hacking US servers for years on end with no arrests made, yet the US track a uk Nerd having a nosey on a non secure server ( which is the administrators fault in the first place for not securing it ) and decide to throw the book at him.

Hes served his time in the UK, and I for one have signed petitions ensuring the US do not get hold of him.
