Patriot Act open for abuse

I'm no lawyer but the more I try to read the Patriot Act the more it seems to leave all kinds of doors open for interpretations. Which we all know is trouble from the individual in charge of (you name it) who's trying to do anything from make a name to get back at someone to the even more dangerous fundamentalist. The democrats screamed about it till they got the power then went on break passing it through with out a question.
