Gorgeous girl, do you really believe,
I walked away, because I wanted to?.....
Or does the place for you in my heart,
Seem too remarkable to be true?

I do not know what you will do,
With the memory you have of me.
I hope the winds of time arrive gently -
Not changing what your heart has seen.

Remember the times I listened,
Remember running on the sand.
Do not let moments of imperfection,
Help you forget the times I held your hand.

I remember holding you in my arms,
Stroking your hair as you sleep.
Knowing that within a beautiful woman,
Is a fragile girl who weeps.

My god I love you,
That is why, you are not by my side.
I cannot support you without truth,
Even in silence there are lies.

I dream of a beautiful moment,
Where you trust my love is real.
Even though some of your story,
May bring pain you don’t want me to feel.
