Why out of all the evidence some people still dont believe

This is an open thread for your own input on this topic. I dont understand why some people wont believe that theres life on other planets. The truth is there but they think that either its a fake or its a government hoax so there wont be caos. Some times I hear its because of my religion well Im very religious and I used to be a non believer. What i mean is you can be a religious person and still believe in other life forms other then whats on earth. I tell non believers to go out side on a clear night and look up at the stars, and honestly say we are alone.

I believe it is possible, but until it is proven, we are alone!

There hasn't been one shred of PROOF that we are not alone. Lots of videos of UFO and such yes. But that is not proof.

Until someone shoots down a ufo, or slays an alien live on tv, People will still doubt it.

Well my two cents worth is that there are many beliefs out there. Some believe because they were taught to believe. Some believe because they have not been taught. Still some believe because they have not seen. Yet others believe because they have seen. It is impossible to know exactly why someone does or doesn't but you get the picture...I hope.

some people just don't want to believe. They talk about "Proof". Proof never exists. You can never prove anything.

However with all the evidence there is enough proof beyond reasonable doubt. If this was a court case, it's most likely that the person on trial would already have been convicted, unless they had highprices lawers.

Anyway....

Why do you care what "They" believe? Do you some how think if they believe you can believe more?

This is to JesterMan idk if you believe in god or not but for me I cant see or feel god but i know heaven is a real place and i know god is real. Im sorry about that double post my computer keeps acting up. I just think that if everyone believed and the truth is known then the human race can evolve into a better peacefull race instead of all this fighting thats going on.

i dont understand why it is so hard for people to believe in light of so much 'evidence' when religion is so rampant around the world. i mean, no offense but, there is not one religion that has ever produced any evidence of any kind. why so easy to belive in god(s) but not aliens?

I do believe in God, but I have my reasons for that. I never just believed in God because someone else told me to. I am not ruling out the existence of ET either. But there has not been enough evidence for me to know 100% that they are real.

OJ Simpson had all the odds against him. Tons of evidence pointing to the fact that he did it, but yet it wasn't enough proof to convince the jury.
