this still is taken from just about halfway through the transition. i would not think much of it had there been some indication of time elapsing and editing for that but why? it is made to look like the dogs come back just after that happens. that seems a little deceptive if parts of the time in between were taken out with no context.

ok youtube keeps timing out on me so i will have to try later but i think i solved it all. i messed with the footage around the paper towel roll ALOT. i think it was acieved with someone right there manipulating it and then removed with a moving mask. it is relatively easy in something like after effects. if youtube ever cooperates i can post this too. there is a ton of pixel distortion in a perfect square around the paper towel roll only while it is moving. i can see it so clearly but youtube or my internet connection hate me tonight.

ok youtube is being semi cooperative.

www.youtube.com...

i am having trouble inserting the link directly, can anyone help. what exactly goes between "
" i tried the link to the page, the link directly to the vid and the embed code they gave me. any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you look, at some points the blur mask reaches up over the arm of the couch. this would match perfectly for someone who was standing there manipulating the roll and used a mask tight to himself that he could keyframe to mask just him as he moved over footage of him not there. you will still get the shadow on the couch, the reflection, and you might have to blur alout out right around the one thing not masked out to hide evidence of you touching it, using something to move it with.

Very nice find. I thought I noticed the pixelated area around the towels before But I wast quite sure. Now I know. Also, mabye its just my eyes playing a trick on me but when the towels lift up and start to spin they appear to move forward then back, then forward again... Is it just me seeing that?

If its not in there some where than I dont know what to tell you.

I always just post a link to the video, like I did with the three videos here. Its just easier for me. either way I think is fine.

ok thanks for your help. i will have to read up and fix them later. i the quality of this got rather degraded as i tried to compress it just right to actually upload since i keep getting timed out. hopefully i can send a better version soon. but it just strikes me as dishonest how this scene is shown to be one straight time period according to the audio right? maybe our resident audio expert will finish his analysis soon and tell me. i understand it takes time. it has taken forever to upload to youtube. 10 minutes to download the video, put it in my software and fiddle with the speed and contrast and boom! but i am no expert with years of experience and all that jazz. anyway, like i said, the audio purports one scene but it is clearly not. the interlacing messes it up but like i said, my internet is being bad tonight and i cant upload any kind of file with real size to it. if you cant see it now, dont jump down my throat yet. just hope you all see what i see.

www.youtube.com...

btw, if you already went over the pixelated area, i appologize. i just hope that video showed it a little more clearly.

As far as the "audio expert" dont get your hopes up. I think we scared him off, hopefully not for good though as it wasnt either of our intentions.

As for the video, I think I see what your talking about. Right before the dogs come back in, there appears to be a cut/edit. The camera seems to have moved positions just a tiny bit. But I think its noticeable. Is that what your talking about?

exactly, it looks crappy all compressed but when you watch the original, it is a long slow fade and very subtle, but you can see if you look. it is just that i did not notice until i sped it up so fast it looks like almost like a jump cut, but you can clearly see there are two seperate images for about 2 seconds as the two different angles fade together. cameras do not get double vision that i know of, yet the audio stays the same.

Very good. Yet more evidence for the fake side.

Something I just thought of is that there has been alot of evidence one way or the other as far as the attic video and the papertowel/door video. But not much as far as the "shadow" video.

Has anyone looked over that video for any edits, cuts, pixelation that shouldnt be there etc...?

just for myself, i blew that one off entirely because it did not seem so far off from what you might expect between the way cameras behave in low light as well as compression artifacts and any digital adjustments the camera might be making. heck, i see that in my laundry room every time i forget to turn the lights on first. but that is just me and i talked enough here today. i was just so proud of myself for my 10 minutes worth of work. imagine what i could accomplish if i knew anything.

ps, if the video was done as i suggest, that could make fore some very interesting submissions of one-upman-ship. just for fun. but then i guess if i say that again i need to put up or shut up and well, my work is done today. i need a raise and week off. seeyas!!!!!!!

Still nothing from ksizzle27,

I wonder if anyone else here has been working on a video of their own, to show possible ways of doing what was seen on the videos.

So far the only one who said they were going to make a video ( i think) is re22666. ANyone else?

Those are some of the best videos I have seen. The part that gets me is the shadow on the door and if you look closely you can see an arm shadow rattling the doorknob. I don't know about modern tech, could a person have been standing there doing these things, and a good video tech have blanked him out, thus the shadows?

In the first video you can CLEARLY see the pigment of the video change from being edited. It is the only evidence I caught that they are fake, but if you watch closely as the door opens and closes, it is VERY visible.

very esily, the same way i described someone hanging out with the paper towels that got erased and had to be blurred a bit where he made contact. i hadnt really looked at the door opening footage much because i figured fishing line and a guy inside could do the knob rattling and then the opening and closing so anything high tech seems pointless as well as easier to figure out. i will take a look when i get back to my computer but that means little, im no expert but just for fun i will see if i can detect anything there.

it seems like there may be many cuts but there is also the fact that there are so many windows in there. the light is not controlled and so many of todays cameras, no matter how much auto you turn off, still make their own adjustments to try to make things perfect for you. you may be on to something.
i am havng trouble seeing this shadow by the door. can anyone point it out? i am sure it is me since it was mentioned several times but hey, i miss alot of stuff. i just caught the two most obvious problems.

Yeah, im not seeing the shadow by the door either. Can some one who DOES see it put up a screen shot highlighting it or something?

They are either really great paranormal activity shots or . . .
I too find it pretty convenient that the camera caught the exact spot of the activity. The dog was acting really weird but why was the guy filming the dog when he had just gotten home from work and he knew exactly where to look for the dog. It all seems a little too convenient to me. If it's real it's pretty rad!

They are pretty rad huh? Even if their fake, ( I personally think they are fake)

They are nice videos either way. Im still hoping to hear from the video owner/creator, although its starting to look grim as far as that is concerned.

im working on it. i have been looking at things people go by to debunk things first. it will take a lil bit to do anything of any quality. i highly doubt this guy did the first one all in the day he filmed it. im sure it took a bit to put it all together after.

Take your time, The more accurate the reproduction the better.

Something I didnt think about untill now, is the fact that my dad has been in televison production for about 30 years now. He started out as a camera man and now does a number of things including, producing, editing and directing. Plus he still runs the camera when a camera man is sick or something. I dont know just how good he would be at finding edits or cuts, etc but I bet he would be better at it than alot of the people on this thread.

I am going to call him up and see if I cant get him to come over and look at these videos. Im curious to see what he says about them.

its too bad that he cant use the professional equipment that he has at work to look at these. He can get in trouble if he uses it for personal stuff. So he will just have to use his eyes to see what he can notice.

No garuntees but I bet he may see some things that havent been noticed yet by us here on ATS.

Hey everyone. I just talked to my dad on the phone. I asked him if he would be willing to look at the videos.

essentially what he said was, that if he has the time he will take a look at them, but he is really busy. so it will be a long time before he has a chance.

Since you dont know my dad, allow me to translate.

What he means is, that he couldnt care less about these types of videos and that when it comes to him checking them out, I shouldnt hold my breath.

Oh well, so much for that idea.

I still havent heard from kshizzle27.

Re22666 I am excited to see your video. As I said in a previous post though, take your time. the more accurate the reproduction the better. Atleast thats how I feel.

Is anyone with any detective skills willing to try and find another way to get in touch with this guy? some other email adress or something?
