Man that is ridiculous! We have commercials before movie previews and now we will have them in Space. I feel space should not have anything like that in space. No weapons either unless they are for asteroids.

EDIT: after just reading the article now i'd like to know how they would do join the big dipper (not a constellation! HAH!), andromeda, and orion all together, since they don't touch each other in any way.
yes, i know they were using a figure of speach... i hope to god this doesn't happen though. something tells me people won't stand for it. people love the stars too much.

I don't see how a few satellites with sunlight reflectors can make a readable message. Unless they are really large or there are a lot of them, you probably will not be able to see them. Both those possiblities are very expensive. I think it's just one of those far-out never to be used patents.
