My Favorite Hemmroid

Yeah. So i'm not normally one to post topics related to health, wellness, and certainly not hemmroids. But i got sick last week and had some bad intestinal issues which were followed up with a nice hemmroid. I'm only 30 and this is the second hemmroid i've ever had in my life, the first was about eight years ago. The first one stuck around for a few weeks and then just kinda faded away. Well this one is different!

I've been using Preparation H on it and let me tell you, it's quite an uneasy, uncomfortable feeling. After awhile I stopped using the PH because i didn't feel it was lessening the pain any, or reducing the size at all.

I woke up this wonderful sunday morning and i feel much better overall; i'm not sick anymore and my butt doesn't hurt nearly as much! When i got ready to take a shower and took off my boxers, wow was i surprised to find a pretty considerable amount of blood, at least in comparison to what's normally there (none).

So i've been reading up on hemmroids that burst today, wonderful Sunday reading i should add. It got squishy and soft last night so i imagine it burst as part of running its course. I'm glad it's gone and all, but i'm not a big fan of the bleeding. Lots of places are saying to go see the doctor so they can give me some more medicine i don't need, and i know the argument is that you don't want an infection, this and that. But i'm not big on doctors and i'm not really convinced that a lot of these medications even work, unless the plan is to reduce the size of my checking account.

So i'm just going to sit here with some "gauze" between the cheeks, keep that particular area clean, and hope the bleeding stops before i bleed out this evening.
