US Plans $1.9 Billion Sale of Four Littoral Combat Ships to Israel

WASHINGTON --- The Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress of a possible Foreign Military Sale to Israel of Littoral Combat Ships as well as associated equipment and services.

The total value, if all options are exercised, could be as high as $1.9 billion.

so israel wants these things BEFORE the usn gets there new ships?!?!?

Perhaps it might just be a good deal.The USN look after there equipment.
When looking for a good investment for a country many things come into play.
This might just be one of those good snap up deals that don't come along often.
But then at the end of the day, its not just the boat itself, its the people on it.

Nice to know the war profiteers are making a tidy bundle keeping the flames of war hot hot HOT!!!
Yes , actually sell your allies more weapons in the face and the neighbourhood of your enemy , and why not rub it in, I'm sure that will make the 'enemy' cower in fear.........
Tell you what , next time advertise the fact that your trying to sell a nuke to you allies. That'll really defuse the situation ...

With American or European taxpayer's money, no doubt. These ships would be useless against Russian missiles and Chinese subs, anyway.

the report should just say US gives Israel ships and planes
to take apart and then sell to rival countries like china
