I would say mid twenties, male, into nature. Possibly with an interest in Shamanism and the occult, but not a full on pagan, probably you blend the traditions into your own mixture that works for you. Probably has a lot of pride in your family/or heritage. Quieter, not boisterous. Patient.

Hey Illusionsaregrander, this is the first post of yours i've come across. I get the impression that you are an intelligent, educated young woman who probably has young children. You are probably religious, active in church and activities but has moments when you feel "outside" of things. Reading the description you gave of the person above you made me think you were also describing yourself.

Not too bad. Young is relative, but I am not so young, and have never had children. I do like them, I just never wanted to own any.

Spiritual and philosophical things matter the most to me, but I am not a member of an organized religion. I am active in my neighborhood, though, I help the older people keep up with the heavier types of work on their houses and yards, keep an eye on their plants and houses when they travel, etc.

Yours, and I am not good at this, and I havent run across you on the boards aas as yet either, (so I am flying blind) I would say... late 20's-early thirties, I cant tell if you are a female or a male who is more caring than usual, but whichever it is, I would say you are social and giving, but not bouncy. You strike me as well mannered and at a party would not be the one running around trying to be the life of the party. You seem a little more like you enjoy both to watch and participate, sort of calm and moderate.

I would guess you are intelligent as well, and whether you went to college or not I would say you are more self educated. You strike me as someone who sets their own intellectual agenda, and then goes and gets the information you need, rather than passively memorizing what is handed to you.

I would not guess you as particularly "earthy" but a bit more on the refined side, perhaps someone who appreciated the arts more than action films.


Edit to add; definitely feel outside of things sometimes. *sigh* Even in my neighborhood where I have been for a long time. Hearing that that shows so clearly to some is enlightening to me. I think I need to look at that, so thank you.

I am guessing you are a female, around 43, you like to be mysterious not letting people in until you trust them. I get the feeling of confusion and mist from the avi.

Very interesting.... I don't know if I should reveal if anything is correct, except the hair is, in actuality, not blue but indeed a brown.

I'm going to scan the thread some more and see if anything immediately starts producing images and feelings for me so I can post..that's how it works with me....some things speak, and some don't so much.

Actually I think it is my Mercury in Leo that is boldly showing. My Cancer side is seen mostly in my home. But, can you dance to Vanilla Ice?... That is the real question. Oh and I am gonna guess you have a fish tank instead of a dog. lol.

Great job Illusionsaregrander, except age and sex, 100%. I am an old man who wishes he were a young woman so i could experience that side of life as well. I am content with whom i have been, with what i have gained, and oddly enough, with what i have lost.

I often wonder what lies behind the avvy!! Sometimes the gender and age are difficult to define. I quite like the anonymity that an avatar provides.
Sort of having an identity without really revealing your true identity.

I am also amazed at the talent I see in abundance at this site.

I can't - and won't - dance - to anything. I will, however, sit in the corner observing people with extreme cynicism and bitterness and drink all of the punch before leaving alone and wondering why I wasted all that time dressing up for something I knew was meaningless and shallow.

I do have a small tank, but one of my fighters just died. I'm going to replace them with glofish ( www.glofish.com... ) and post on ATS all night with the blacklights on. Not much difference from now, except there will be living moving fluorescent material in the room. My ultimate goal in terms of pet ownership is a Capybara.

I would say based on your Avatar that you are an independent thinker, and have a spiritual bent, even if it isnt channeled into religion atm. You care about what is right and wrong, and sincerely want to be a good person.

I would also guess that you are isolated somehow. Either you are an introvert, and enjoy time to yourself, or you hang out with a bunch of people but dont quite feel like they get you, or you differ quite a bit from your family.

This has been fun, I am learning that I should definitely stick to going for the personality elements (the mental/emotional ones) and leave the physical ones to others. I seem to strike out on the physical end of things.

I am going to give you a try.

Female, younger, (I am giving up on going for actual physical age except in general) with a sly sense of humor. I would say you like to stir things up a little, but not in a really aggressive way, you like subtle pokes at things that reveal that we take ourselves too seriously, but that cause a laugh to break the tension while doing so.

I would say you are highly individual, and that you probably dress in ways that reflect your personality. You dont strike me as the suit wearing type, you like your appearance to say something about YOU, not just what other people want or expect you to look like or wear.

I would guess you as a loyal friend, who likes old comfortable friendships, rather than someone who has a flavor of the month best friend. You dont strike me as someone who likes to play politics, because selling yourself out to make others like you offends your sensibilities. You seem like the sort who is pretty accepting of others, even if you dont agree with them.

I picture you as a mid to late 20's male, thin with dark hair. Obviously from your posts, I picture you as being fed up with the way things are going and the current administration. I really have no idea what you might do in real life, maybe IT?

Judging by your avatar and your daily helping of breaking alternative news I see you as a news-hound in his 20s who is fascinated by conspiracy-theory. Dark hair, medium weight. You often sound as paranoid as I sounded in my 20s.

I would hazard a guess that you were in a relationship more than a year ago and ever since you finished that relationship you dedicate yourself to a Neo-like mission of learning and teaching and learning and teaching.

Was married for 18 years, divorced. Been with current G/F for 3 years. Learning and teaching is certainly one of my passions.
