Which brings me to Dulcimer:

I assumed you live in the city because you do seem complicated. I guess I was just trying to compile an image of someone who strikes me as complex. I mean it in a good way, of course.

I get deep dark depressions, and then I come out of them a little too much like Jim Carey. I can make his same faces and antics. My family loves me for it. I have a dark side though. Are you scared?.. I didn't think so. You make me want to go to Canada and have a beer with you.

say wha? Philosophical heavily equipped plumber? I never would have went there. You are kinda like Alex in "Flashdance". So I was right about the rest? yipppee.

I am amazed how close the two guesses were.

The only thing off in either one would be the Being a part of the military or having the urge to join. I'd personally rather wait til the revolution is necessary; Then people should watch for my scope flashes.. Otherwise I'm a fairly peaceable person.

Lol. Thats funny about "Flashdance." I actually like to dance, and would have liked to be a dancer..........if I werent 5'10". Those dancing guys are so tiny I would have to be lifting them in the air instead of the proper way 'round.

Haha, nope. No farm for me, although I did grow up around plenty of them. I don't think modern would really describe me. And I'm younger than 35.......actually my birthday was on the 4th.

Hells yeah, Tom Cruise is the ultimate pickup artist(or his characters anyway). Everything he does is golden. Of course, as of late, not so much. Yeah, I can definately cook. I eat healthily so I pretty much cook all the time........the ladies love it!

No problem with my mom. I guess I would be a mild momma's boy, but thats just how it usually is down here. I cook a lot. Hell I eat a lot....I usually spend a couple of hours on sundays preparing my lunches and some dinners for the week.

Yep, My experience "down there" was similar. Good times in Texas. It's a magical place. I miss it. My dad and brother are still there. I miss the fire flies the most.

I'm curious if anyone can correctly deduce my true personality based upon this post alone, my avatar, and my signature. I rather doubt it'll happen, due mainly to how little information this will impart.

I'm pretty bad for judging by the Avi's...I ALSO thought that Nefermore was a girl No offence dear I also thought that LateApexer was a guy (sorry hun!). I have to say karl, when I see your avi, I think of that guy's voice from No Country for Old Men - and it creeps me out a little

I think its normal for people to do that. The internet leaves EVERYTHING open to interpretation and our imagination - we build each other's "presence" based on what and how they write, their avatar's, the topics they post on, their names, and their signatures etcc. etc.. We give each "person" a face (sometimes similar to their avatars, even though they look NOTHING like them), tones of voices (based on the context of their posts), and we interpret their personalities.

BTS is great to get to know the members around here - everyone loosens up a bit and kicks off the shoes, lets their hair down, and essentially lets a part of them shine through. Some threads make the members seem more real - and less like the possibility of being some guy named Harry who lives with his Mother and never leaves his room.

For a long time, people thought I was a guy - and then I got an Avatar made by GEL (Thanks again!!) and posted on a few BTS threads. Truth is - unless we all meet each other we're never gonna really know anyone else on here, the internet is so limiting in terms of knowing someone.

My desk is never cluttered, I despise excess "stuff" taking up desk-space. I used to collect and seek out rare books in my teens but Ive trashed and sold most of them. Glasses sometimes when driving at night but too vain to otherwise wear them. Dark haired, fairly slim, normal height.

Quantum_Squirrel you strike me as someone who is perhaps smaller in size and a bit fidgety. You also probably like physics a lot. You also maybe have the type of humor that includes phrases like omgwtfbbq and adding "y" to stuff like "thingy" and like to make smart remarks?

As a matter of fact, that kind of does pop in to my mind. Unless I have read many posts by someone with no avatar, I don't usually have much of an opinion either way. There are probably only a handful of posters that I have formed opinions of that do not have avatars. I think the avatars help solidify the poster in my memory.

I guess I've been around for a pretty long time, looking at date of registering, but I've been on and off and for the most part usually lurking. This is a really tough community to start posting in, as I feel I do want to contribute rather than post (to me) pointless posts all over the place.

This thread makes me wish I had been a little more active, or at least found an avatar.
