Nice (and totally accurate in terms of the intended impression the avatar is supposed to make).

We´ll talk later elsewhere. Someday I would like to challenge your christian views from a non-atheist standpoint and maybe also have an avatar done by you.

While I think it's a great OP and I have found this thread to be very entertaining, what interests me more than avatars is profiles.

I wonder how many members take the time to get to know what it is their fellow ATSers put out there for all to see, no guessing. Because I absolutely read them and I gotta tell ya - it's fascinating.

If you made me a "friend" or I made you a "friend," I have read your profile. If you seemly posted under the influence,
I have read your profile. If you are an ass,
I have read your profile. If your posts are crazy smart, I have read your profile. If you are consistently open-minded and kind, I have read your profile.

I also like to read the comments section which shows a kind of connectivity between members.

So I got like 50%. Oh well.

I have to say this has been the most fun thread I've seen in my time on ATS. I feel like I've gotten to know so many of you and it certainly is a pleasure.

Me me me now
! What do you think about my avatar?

Regarding KarlHungis, I have not seen the movie yet I have seen about it on tv. So I already wondered why you would have chosen this hitman as an avatar. I think you admire people who know how to finish a job, without hesitations or other distractions. A bit of intuition: you like fresh strawberries. You find intellectual women fascinating yet not that alluring. You fantasize about riding on a bike into the sunset, I now have to think about that sixties cult movie with Dennis Hopper in it. You wish you were living in the seventies, when things were much more moving and shaking. I think you find this time very boring.

That was all folks

Just to let you know I have a God given talent for doing this to females, really I don't even have to try.

I find it funny you mentioned this.

That screams 'romantic' to me! Romantic, dreamy, and friendly is what I keep getting from your avatar.

Don't feel special or anything. Most people, especially men, make me want to pull my hair out.

All I can say about your avatar is that I liked the last one (witches roadsign) better.

For the longest time you didnt even have an avatar and a screenname that didnt seem to mean much...sc2099...yet your personality did shine through on the posts you made:

I definetely get the impression that you´re not the housewife-type and not the hippie-type either but that you have a profession/job that you like and work hard at it.

I see your point yet to me it is very much albedo. Albedo is the alchemistic domain in which nothing is what it appears to be. A sort of ghost land in between rubedo, the domain of light and prosperity, and nigredo, the domain of death and decay.

By the way, I do not buy into your "pinkness"
I think the sword, also as an indication of an intellectual mind, is much more an aspect of you than the sweet pink. Or maybe it is poisoneous pink

Oh my. I will have to look into that more. It sounds interesting.
When I saw your avatar, the first thing I thought of was Dancing with the Stars.

The pink is actually the real deal. It has been my lifelong favorite color, everything was pink in my apartment before getting married, and 90% of my wardrobe is pink. It was explained a few pages back. 'Pleasant Until Provoked' should explain the pink and the juxtaposition of the sword.

So what is being married like (for thos eof us who will never know)?

You should get you husband on here so we can judge him by his looks too lol. This has been one of those rare "fun threads", I almost think this should be moved to the "Mythical Creatures" section sense threads like these are far and few between.
Do'nt know if you've been reading up on this thread much, but what do you think about me? Nobody got me right yet.

1). Being married is a mixture of pure bliss and pure hell!

2). 3). Editing out these two answers. Just take my word on it that he is the proverbial poster child for Texas boys and the NRA.

4). As for you. Hm. You. Well, I have heard some things about you on the ATS gossip network.
Don't let that make you paranoid, though. By all accounts, including my own opinion of you, you are a good but eccentric egg. You possibly feel you are always the 'odd man out' and that you are frequently left holding the short end of the stick. I think you have a huge but fragile heart that you keep closely guarded. You want to open yourself up to others but are very hesitant to do so. You might argue this but I have always seen you being surrounded by an 'aura of innocence,' however, it becomes more and more jaded due to the actions of others. My advice is to hold on to what you have because that is what makes you precious in God's eyes. You are fiercely loyal to those you care about and for the causes you care about. You don't like being 'the bad guy' but you will do it in spite of the circumstances. As they say, the definition of bravery is not the absence of fear but proceeding with what you feel you need to do even while being terrified. Yes, you are definitely a good egg. This was obviously based on more than just your avatar, though! LOL!

5). Yes this is an awesome thread! I get to voice my judgments I have been making of all of you since the beginning.
It is fun to analyze others; not so much fun when we are the recipient. lol I would rather not know what anyone thinks of me. Contrary to what others may believe, I hate being the center of attention but prefer to sit on the sidelines as the observer and analyst.

Wow!

Ashley, somehow you know me better than any of my bestest friends!
The part about an eccentric egg is kinda baffling, i'm probably more of a cracked egg actuall though lol.
You guy's seem like the common Texas couple lol, A guy with a gun and a truck and a gal holding the kids.
I sure miss Texas.

I was un aware that there was a gossip section on ATS, well, technically that's what most of ATS is any way isn't it lol?

Peace,

-Jimmy

OK, 20 pages of Warm & Fuzzy.

I'd say we must be about ready for either a group hug or perhaps a seance to bring back Elvis.

Honestly, I am beginning to miss the vitriol and sarcasm.

Anyone got a blurry shot of a blinking light on a cell phone tower we could argue about?

Seriously, it's been a blast, but I am about ready to put on my Stilts & Oven Mitts, grab my Super Soaker and head to the Senior Center for some fun.

Karl, how do we wrap this thing up?

toodles......kk

My inability to remember things such as the OP makes it hard to be here anyway and usually feel invisible even with an avatar.

I typically skip those avatars and posts I find really annoying and distracting. Probably what other do to me also. I didn't like the character in the OP's avatar and I don't really have an opinion of his posts or character otherwise. I guess my views are worse than the chaff anyway.

Having an a good avatar is important to recognize someone. I think it's lame when they don't match their identity or gender. This to me is what feds do and why I think sometimes they're all over this site. More hard working tax dollars wasted? At least they're not enjoying porn.(so much)

Has there ever been a thread for the best or worst avatar? or is this it?

Most pleasant moving avatar, most annoying 'crack driving' type avatar etc.

Post their avatars in a thread so we can star them?

Kinda like good cop bad cop for mods?

What ever happened about a new ATS logo? is that it? Why doesn't that morph or move?

To me a posters personality is more easily shown in their writing styles and just overall behavior but avatars do have a large effect. Symbolism is a huge part of human culture.
