I dont do it with the sun. I get off on stars. Common practice is to get an ultra-toxic anti-mosquito and anti-bug killer, place it in the garden and then just spend the night outside stargazing.

Haha, it's totally fine. I think most users on here without avatars that blatantly describe them as female (think AshleyD) come across as male because most of the users are male. I sort of default everyone at ATS to be male unless I know for a fact that they're not and I've definitely been wrong plenty of times.

Cute thread! I do believe you can make some sort of assessment about people based on what they choose as an avatar. Whether it reflects their true personality or if it represents a persona they wish they had. There is another thread currently going that is similar to this one but focuses on the 'dark' avatars used by a majority of members. A few members made the comment that people don't select avatars that reflect their personality but instead select avatars that represent the personality they wish they portrayed. I really do not agree with such sentiments in the majority of cases. Although it can be true, I would say most of the people I have encountered on here select avatars that truly reflect their personality.

I chose my avatar because I love the color pink, the angel looks similar to how I look in real life, and what I get out of the avatar is pretty much the way I am: soft and feminine but with a edge when necessary. I know a lot of people also put a lot of thought into their avatars in an effort to reflect themselves.

Anyways, I have always had a lot of respect for you, Karl, and have always considered you to be a very intelligent and thoughtful poster. If you seek honesty, then I have to say your avatar is slightly off putting and reminds me of a serial killer. lol Just my honest opinion. In your case I would have to say your avatar does not display the impression I have of you, which would be a very warm and caring person while your avatar looks cold and emotionless.
